I have extremely dry skin and it gets even drier especially in winters. I keep looking out for products that are hydrating and nourishing so that my skin doesn’t feel parched throughout the day. I came across Dot & Key Hyaluronic Serum Concentrate and it excited me.Dot & Key Hyaluronic Serum Concentrate

Now, I like using products that have hyaluronic acid content in them since it has been great for my skin so far. So, this serum caught my eye and I thought I should give it a try. I picked it up and have been using for a couple of weeks now. I will share with you what I feel about it today.

About Dot & Key Hyaluronic Serum Concentrate –

Dehydration is a skin state that affects everyone from time to time. And this is why no skin routine is complete without a good hydrating serum. Dot & Key Water Drench Hyaluronic Acid Serum is exactly what you need to bring life to dehydrated parched skin.

Featuring intense, water attracting hyaluronic acid, this hydrating serum puts extra thirsty skin to rest by replenishing it’s moisture reservoirs. It contains vitamin C and antioxidants from acai berries, which fight free radicals and daily environmental damage.

Formulated with ceramides and botanicals elements like soothing bulgarian rose, this brilliant hydrator improves skin’s barrier function restoring plump dewy complexion. Ultra concentrated, yet easily absorbable, this face serum can be used alone or along with your favourite moisturising cream for long-lasting hydration. Either way, you are sure to hear your skin heave a sigh of relief.

Features:

  • Hydrating hyaluronic acid serum that boosts moisture and fights free radicals
  • Ultra-concentrated, it is an easily absorbable serum for that youthful dewy looking skin
  • Improves skin’s barrier function, acts as a moisturizer and restores dehydrated skin
  • Contains acai berries a rich source of vitamin C that fights free radical damage
  • Plumps, smooths and deeply hydrates skin while eliminating the signs of daily wear and tear
  • Dermatologist tested, vegan formula
  • Contains no parabens, sulphates, phthalates or other skin nasties

Packaging: The serum comes in a plastic bottle and has a dropper on top to dispense the product. The packaging is much travel-friendly since the bottle is not made from glass. However, the dropper is a little off since it is a bit flimsy and I have to squeeze hard to dispense the product.

This way, if I squeeze way too hard, I am not able to control the amount of product that gets dispensed. I wish the dropper was a bit smoother to use.Dot & Key Hyaluronic Serum Concentrate

Formula: The formula of the Dot & Key Hyaluronic Serum Concentrate is very light weight and it gets absorbed into my skin quickly. It doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on my skin, which is what I like. I do not prefer heavy serums, or it makes my skin feel oily and sticky.

Texture: This serum feels very smooth and light and has a different texture than the ones that I have used before. I like the way it feels on my skin. It has a slightly thick and jelly like consistency since it is a concentrate and it feels like water on my skin.

Colour and fragrance: The serum is colourless and is transparent and doesn’t have a smell.

Quantity and price: This serum comes in a 30 ml bottle and costs ₹ 895. It is definitely a bit on the pricier side, but this serum is worth every penny. Since it is a hyaluronic acid concentrate, it contains pure hyaluronic acid which benefits the skin to a greater extent.

My thoughts on the product:

I like this serum to be honest. However, I wish it came with a proper dropper to dispense the product so that there is a better control over dispensing the product. However, my skin is so dry that it just drinks up the serum very fast and I need to layer it up with another serum or a heavy moisturiser so that it doesn’t feel drying.

But in case you have normal to oily skin and are looking for a serum that has pure hyaluronic acid concentrate in it, this is the one to go for. I haven’t tried Dot & Key Hyaluronic Serum Concentrate in summers so I guess it would be fine for me since my skin wouldn’t feel much dry then.
